DIY: HEART SWEATER

Here is a little tutorial on how to make your own heart sweater.. just in time for Valentines day :)

What you'll need:
Paper to trace a heart on
Good scissors
Needle & thread
Pins
Fabric of your choice
Sweater

  

Trace out 1 side of the heart  

Fold fabric in half and place the paper on the fold. Pin it. 

Start cutting out the pattern. 

Safety pin the heart in place. 

Sew the heart to the sweater. I chose to have a lighter color thread to make it look playful. 

VOILA!

DIY: STUDDED SHOES

Ok I bought these plain black loafers at the thrift shop couple weeks ago. They're actually a half size too small so I won't be able to wear them that often :( but decided to revamp them anyway. 

I put together a little DIY to show you how I did them. 

WHAT  YOU'LL NEED

PUSH BACK THE PRONGS ON THE STUD. DO NOT TRY TO DO IT WITH YOUR TEETH. I REPEAT, DO NOT TRY TO DO IT WITH YOUR TEETH. OUCH :(

START GLUING THE STUDS AT THE FRONT OF THE SHOE-- IT MAKES IT A LOT EASIER.
THIS IS ABOUT A 1/4 OF THE WAY DONE. 

DONE :)

This was the worst day of my life. Seriously.. i'm still suffering from severe bugbites on my legs. Boooo.  I'm pretty sure i'm in tears in most of these photos.  I didn't drive all the way out to that field for nothing so i carried on with my business.

THRIFTY TUESDAY

Went thrifting today.. a blazer, dress, camera, book, and a blouse all for $11 :)

I love this National Geographic book i found called Into the Wilderness. Makes me want to travel so bad..

The camera is a panoramic camera and i'm excited to test it out :) it was $1
...& then what i thought was an awesome buy i try it on when i got home and this is what i found :/

other than that i love it.
I forgot to take pictures of the shirt and the blazer.. i'm not really a blazer girl.. but it's cute.

Outfit

Took some pictures the other day because it wasn't too terribly hot outside. 

The crocheted top was my Omas & it is one of my favorite pieces. It is so pretty. 

The skirt is Forever 21, but i found it at thrift store at a half off sale.. $1 :)
